Spring Harvest
April is a little cold this year, but Vanilla and Tipsy put on their pretty spring dresses and went to the garden to harvest some things…
.
.
…they found the Raspberries are barely budding, but there are lots of buds…it looks hopeful!
.
.
The Salmonberry is flowering, and the fruit will come!
.
.
The lilac will be out soon if we get a few warm days!
.
.
And look! The Rosemary is ever green and fragrant…
.
.
…the girls love to sit in the bush and sniff…and they collected a few flowers!
.
.
The pear blossoms are ready, but they don’t smell nice – we left them outside and hoped the bees and butterflies like their scent.
.
.
The Candytuft doesn’t mind the chilly weather…
.
.
…their flower harvest came inside to be a floating bouquet…
.
.
…spring is near!
.
.
Beautiful dresses. Do you make all you Hitty’s dresses?
I make quite a few, but the young human chose two today that I didn’t make!
What a lovely springtime treat this post was, thank you!
So glad you enjoyed it!
so sweet and lovely, full of promise. The last picture is a work of art, I love looking into the centers of small flowers
Flower-gazing can be so absorbing…these little ones were so small it was hard to put them into a stem vase, even a Hitty-sized one!
Gorgeous.
Thank you! We were captivated by the flowers!
Just what we needed to see. Lovely. Thank You
You are very welcome…I hope spring is coming your way too!
Thank you for a very cheering post. Your floating bouquet is beautiful!
Thanks so much, we had a pleasant afternoon in the “just-beginning” garden!
ahhh spring is bursting at the Quimper house!! Lovely girls in their beautiful garden.
Spring is bursting! A very small Hitty can appreciate it from lower down, so it looks quite impressive to them!
