Comfortable Quilt
Constance has been reading about the weather in her Almanac…She doesn’t like the sounds of the stms Miss Val, severe on the 10th, nor the cld wave prd on the 13th – 17th
.
.
Fortunately the Quimper Hittys have plenty of quilts…
.
.
…and obliging foot warmers (did you know a cat’s body temperature is about 2 degrees C warmer than a human’s)?
.
.
The new quilt is plain and pretty, we bought it at the Victoria Quilter’s guild Christmas sale – it was made by Lois Lookley!

Wonderful new quilt! Congratulations!
It is bigger than some of our Hitty quilts, but more quilt means more cosy – right?!
You are an amazing person. You stories are full of lovely details, love it.
Dear Bodana, thank you so much – I love telling stories with these little wooden people – their problems are so little!
Yes, lovely new quilt but also adorable beauties attending it.
They are happy to be snug under their quilt and foot warmers! No stms or cld wve will get at them!
I don’t like the sound of Constance’s almanac either. Stay warm under the quilts and cats.
They are warm, thank goodness! And thankfully spring is coming!
I do love a comfortable quilt. Perhaps Mary and I should take up quilting? They are both useful and pretty. A perfect household item to make or own.
Stay safe in the stormy weather, dear friend Constance.
Love,

We enjoy quilting, perhaps you would too? I know you like sewing tiny things, and no doubt Mary could tell you her opinions and preferences about colours and patterns!
so good to know the Quimper Hittys will not suffer any chilly nights. And love the foot warmers. That quilt is lovely.
The Cats are as good as hot water bottles! Graziella and Abigail’s toes are especially toasty!
I did not know that, and now I do đŸ™‚
That’s why cats are excellent foot-warmers, though somewhat heavier than hot water bottles…
