Snowy Morning

Snow!

This morning Arianell woke up to snow…

.

.

Walk

…and she and her sisters got to make the first footprints!!

.

.

Red

The rosehips were really red…

.

.

Greyish brown

…and the dry grasses very pale brown…

.

.

Grey

…but the water was not blue!

.

.

Up

The girls climbed up the hill…

.

.

Cold

…to the edge of the bluff…

.

.

Cold!

…to see what they could see, which was; cold ducks; cold rocks; cold sea and heaps of snow!

.

.

snuggle

Henrietta, Floradora and Arianell were also cold! I let them ride home snuggled in my new snowflake hat.

  1. what a frosty hike!! The girls are so intrepid….I loved seeing their little footprints in the new snow., Their person was very kind and generous to let them snuggle in her lovely new hat. I hope her ears did not get too cold!

  2. Sweet…I think I see Henrietta and Floradora’s pink cheeks aglow from the exertion and cold. They were brave little misses to take that winter trek. Becky J

    • They were happy – the whole world is so pretty in the snow…and it was much warmer than a few days ago when Arianell and I went out on that Icy Afternoon walk. Snow around here tends to be slushy and wet!

    • The girls enjoyed their soggy adventure, and yes – they were happy to snuggle in the hat. They always think whatever I am knitting is destined to be for them… and sometimes it even is!

  3. Loved, Loved, Loved as always… I wanted to jump to this beautiful snowy day walking with them all. Thank you, have a nice day, Love, nia
