June in the Garden
Cool weather and rain in the spring, followed by a couple of days of sunshine have turned the garden into a jungle…
.
.
…which Arianell has been helping to clear!
.
.
Now we can really enjoy the peonies in all their glory…
.
.
…and the Honeysuckle twining around our dead tree.
.
.
We have planted a new Wisteria vine (which our favourite photographer constructed a strong support for)…
.
.
…Hittys, humans and felines all approve of the arrangement…
.
.
…and so does the hanging flower basket.
.
.
Meanwhile the leek avenue is thriving…
.
.
…and so is the Wild Strawberry plantation!
.
.

You have a bounty of gloriousness in your garden. Again, thank you for sharing it with us Arianell and Ms K!
You are welcome! We can’t help sharing the beauty and joy of the garden – such a balm and sanctuary on these lovely June days!
Truly spectacular!!!! Such joy!
It is so heartening – we’ve worked hard to encourage the garden into it’s current form, and also in the maintenance…the way it responds to both is so rewarding!
What a flourishing garden you have!! Lovely blooms and lovely little girls and snoozing cats….magic!!!
I think it is magic too, comprised of more than just our work and hopes! All the cats and humans and Hittys are in agreement!
So sweet it is…to feel the sun’s rays and to busy one’s hands with gardening chores! Enjoy!
The sun especially after a long cool and damp spring. We are enjoying it as hard as we can!
Those peonies! Just… wow.
I know – those peonies! I goggle at them every time!
It is looking lovely Kjerstin
Thanks! The fruits of our labours…only when it finally looks like this the labour is forgotten!
And then the weeds grow again so we start labouring again…. But while it lasts it is wonderful!
It is impossible not to approve them all…. Fascinating. And I do love your CAT too. Thank you, Love, nia
If it’s cat approved, well, it’s top shelf!
That is certainly the philosophy around here!
