Roses of July
The morning…
.
.
…was so beautiful.
.
This corner of the garden is awash with roses…
.
.
…a little out of reach for Cooky…
.
.
…Rose lifted her up…
.
.
…can you smell them too?
.
.
One little rosebud…
.
.
…brought a little glory indoors.
.

This is a beautiful narrative to start the day off in a very pretty way. I couldn’t smell the roses but the pictures create a bounty of satiated feelings.
I am glad you enjoyed the visit to our garden this morning – Cooky and Rose thought it was too beautiful not to share!
How beautiful their dresses especially the child’s! and sure beautiful stages/photographical stages, Thank you, Love, nia
Thank you so much nia, I love to make little dresses, and take the Hittys outside! And bringing a tiny rose indoors was a way to remember the beauty of the garden. I love my camera almost as much as you love “Mr 60”
Oh so gorgeous!
Thank you – we are really happy with the way the climbing rose (whose roots are next door!) has decided to share its loveliness with us!
Thank you for bringing us roses this morning, on the coldest day of winter so far. Not that it’s cold in your terms, but I can imagine the smell of summer in the north.
Although it has cooled down quite a bit compared to a couple of weeks ago – it was only 17 degrees yesterday at the warmest – the long days of sunshine are what makes it summer here!
We went down to 5°C last night, which is very chilly indeed for coastal tropics. I hope my tomatoes survive, they’re fruiting nicely but I’d like them to ripen.
