End of August garden
At the end of August, the summer flowers are beginning to fade…
.
.
…time marches on…
.
.
…the Autumn Crocus are coming out…
.
.
…and Cyclamen…
.
.
…and pears are beginning to drop!
.
.
Time to dig out the warmer clothes!

Another lovely stage to enjoy in your garden!
It is a beautiful season in the garden – end-of-summer-not-quite fall.
Sweetest face on this little one!
Ann
She is a little love – I really enjoy the world through her eyes!
Oh, my goodness you’re already cooling off enough for Cooky to need her knitty dress. I’m imagining how much food the Hittys could prepare with one fallen pear. A veritable Pear Feast.
Yes – and thanks to you for the base pattern! I almost put flannel sheets on the bed last week, but the sun has decided to give us another little woof of heat this week, so will hold off a bit. Living as close to the sea as we do makes it quite cool some days!
I appreciate how you graciously and with honor, move with the flow of the seasons.
Thank you! I always hope I am not being boring, photographing the same scenes year after year, but they do seem new every time to me (and the Hittys!).
That is a breathtaking garden and sweet scenes!
Thank you! The little garden of little delights – every moment in it makes me happy!
It feels very autumnal here but no blackberries yet. Definitely time for jumpers.
Our blackberries are ripening! We like to freeze them whole and eat them through the year!
I bottle them and likewise eat them all year round.
I love the fiery August colours in your garden!
The colours evolve during the seasons – I love the current orange and purple and green!
