Chilly Flowers
Malarkey is a tender little blossom, carved in Puerto Rico and Arkansas – she put on the warmest Hitty coat (the one with a hood, mittens and a scarf) and ventured outside to see what she could see. She saw some snow…

…and a big clump of giant snowdrops…

…and a little clump of tiny snowdrops!
.
.
A few brave crocus blossoms are peeking out…
.
.
…but her favourite flower in the garden today was the Hellebore!

Malarkey came inside chilly from her walk, but Jane warmed her up with baked beans and cornbread fresh from the oven!

Beautiful coat and the colours too. Your garden and flowers are so beautiful, flowers coming up… Thank you dear Hitty Lady, Love, nia
You are welcome! It has been cold here too, but the plants are insistent, and persistent and optimistic!
My snowdrops have not so much as peeked up yet… but my daffodils that are near the house have poked up some green shoots! I love your Hellebores as well!
I love that the plants are doing their thing irregardless of the human concerns…Daffodils will come! We like the snowdrops, Hellebores and daffodils (when they appear in about a month) because the deer leave them alone!
I so enjoy your homey, cozy narratives! Malarkey is lovely as is Jane.
Thank you – it keeps me positive to spend time in the Quimper Hitty world!
ohhhh blooms! Here we are blanketed with snow and below freezing temps so Malarky and her adventure in the garden is very welcome. She was VERY warmly dressed. and sweet Jane with my favorite cornbread and beans!! thank you
We were so glad to see the flowers showing themselves, it is cold (for here) but I know it is colder for you! Malarkey and Jane recommend cornbread and baked beans as an antidote!
The hooded coat is so sweet!
Sweet, and warm, and necessary on a chilly February Day!
