Lilac Froth in Early May
Morning sunlight on the lilac…
.
.
…was irresistible!
.
.
It’s so beautiful…
.
.
…and smells delicious on its own…
.
.
…and when it mingles with the rosemary.
.
.
And now the Hitty Cupboard smells almost as heavenly as the garden.

the girls are great little tree climbers 🙂
They are! So strong and adventurous!!!
You are a little ahead of us, no lilacs in sight here yet. They are so wonderful in every way.
Spring came suddenly! One day there were swelling buds on the plant, and the next day we were saturated with frothy perfume!
I love lilac.
I do too, and the Humans are amazed at how a tiny Hitty-sized bouquet can waft its fragrance around the room!
Lilac! It’s so beautiful and sweet.
I didn’t know you had a Mormor. I have so much to learn.
Mormor appears once in a while and she is always happy to get a little bouquet from her dear little Hitty Flickor.
That’s good to know. How long have you been involved in the Hitty world?
I carved Constance, my first Hitty, in 2007 so 19 years of Hitty-ing with an actual doll…but I read the story as a child so getting on for 50 years in all! I have been writing this blog since 2011.
Wow! 19 years and counting. You’re dedicated to the process. How many Hitty’s reside in your abode? Well done keeping up with the blog.
Beautiful and the Hittys look wonderful among the flowers!
Hittys and flowers just go together so well!
I love Lilac but my tree has grown tall and leggy so the flowers are hard to see or smell. I must get another or maybe cut it down and hope it regrows.
