Mince Pies
An annual opening of the Historic Cookbook…
An afternoon of chopping, slicing, grating and stirring...

Everyone takes a turn stirring the Pancheon.
A small bowl of mincemeat for a small doll.
Constance can’t wait to share the little Mince Pie with her sisters.

Looks Wonderful!!! Time well spent, I’d say! Love that little pie! ☺
It begins to feel like Christmas when the mincemeat pies come out of the oven, Constance is always very willing to help! The little pie was the centrepiece of a Hitty feast!
I remember eating those mince pies in England one Christmas. I am going to see if I can print the recipe. They look delicious – Perfect for the Christmas Season.
If you can’t print it, I’ll happily scan it for you, just let me know.
Lucky Constance. If only the volume of mince meat I helped make was in the same proportions as it is to Hitty!
I think that would be about four refrigerators full of Mincemeat! Too much grating and chopping for me!
