    • Best wishes to you and the Bonsai Hittys! Thank you for your compliments on the Kimono and Haiku. We do our best to honour the Japanese New Year traditions, and hope for a good year for all!

  1. Gorgeous!! Amazing outfits…amazing photos. Thank you for a lovely New Years wish!! The
Country HIttys and Sherry wish you all a VERY Happy New Year. Looking forward to lots of fun
photos and stories from Constance and friends..

    • My Hittys are glad to dress up in their beautiful Kimono. Our Japanese friend suggested New Year would be a good time! She also made the Kimono that Min is wearing and the colourful red flowered Kimono, and gave me the fabric to make the purple flowered Kimono. I have tried to get the girls dressed correctly, but there are probably incorrect details that I can’t see!

I hope there will be lots of Hitty fun in 2014, and more friendly comments too!

  2. Beautiful kimonos and the hittys look so nice in them. Constance, Rose and little Min look very very pleased. Happy New Year Humans and Hittys.

  3. These are lovely outfits – what a nice way to celebrate the New Year. I hope they enjoyed the mochi!

Haiku in your blog gives me the idea you should team up with a photographer that is looking for a Haiku writer to go with her photos.

    • They truly enjoyed the sensation of the mochi in their little wooden mouths, soft and squidgy rice paste surrounding red bean filling, really a nice sensation. I am glad you noticed my attempt at writing a winter Haiku….you know a Haiku-hunting photographer ??? can you link us?
