Raingear
Last night a storm blew in – 45 km an hour winds and pelting rain…only one thing for a Hitty to do!
.
.
Put on raingear and go outside!
.
.
…see if wet Fuchsia flowers smell different to dry ones…
.
.
…count the drops on an Iris leaf…
.
.
…and swing on the neighbour’s gate!
.
.
Nothing is as much fun as playing in the rain……too bad she can’t go barefoot in the puddles!
It is too bad about the puddles – but I carved her with boots on! It is fun in the rain, all the Hittys think so!
Oooh, a little origami boat on the puddles would be just the thing! I hope that you get more rain soon and that the Hittys get to play in it to their heart’s delight!
So far there haven’t actually been any puddles. I suppose the ground was so dry it just wicked up the water.
Thank goodness she had a nice raincoat and hat!
All the right equipment for my West Coast Hittys!
We are going to have to go out now to check in the dark (and rain) to see whether fuchsias smell at all! We have some excellent new coloured torches which will assist us as we negotiate past giant slugs to visit the fuchsia plant. We are all in great admiration of the Rain Gear!
You have giant slugs too? I thought Megagastropod giganticus only lived around here!
Oh we love the rain gear!! Wonderful photos with the Fuschia….glorious!! Rainy days at your house are truly
beautiful days!!!
We love rain gear too – luckily, or we’d be stuck inside almost half the year!
