Agathe spent the night outdoors wrapped in a blanket, keeping an eye on the mailbox.

She found it rather chilly so we found a nice quiet corner of the porch…

It is very snug, cosy and dry inside!

And has all the necessities nearby.

Now Agathe can wait quite comfortably within sight of the mailbox.

How nice to have a cosy tent for a lookout! This is so exciting-can’t wait to see who the visitor is!
It is an excellent tent! The Hittys love it…Agathe knows who is expected, but is keeping quiet about it!

I never would have believed Hitty’s could be so well equipped! She is very excited! Such fun!
We found the glorious tent at Canadian Tire, (a giant hardware and automotive chain-store) it was their shop floor model, and as it was the end of summer, they were getting rid of it for $5.00 – I snapped it up and the Hittys were all delighted.
Such adorable accommodations. Agathe is indeed well equipped for this marathon wait! WE are all atwitter here at the farm just waiting with Agathe for this mystery visitor to arrive!! also we love the quilt/blanket she is wrapped in. Great photos as always.
It is an excellent tent, and has room for quite a few other friends, should any of them decide to keep Agathe company while she waits. The overshot blanket came in a cupboard that the Hitty’s favourite photographer bought them a while ago…
It looks very cosy in your tent Agathe, but I DO hope your visitor arrives soon.

What a brilliant tent, Quimper HIttys! Also the convenience looks well appointed. I wonder who or what Agathe is waiting for? Tenterhooks come to mind 🙂
They love their tent, and are very happy to have the necessities nearby! The poor Hittys are certainly being stretched on tenterhooks!
