A Piffle of Snow
Tansy spent last Winter in Winnipeg, so this is just a little piffle of snow for her! The two of us had a very enjoyable walk today, and despite the chilly wind (lowering the temperature to – 7) it was quite lovely in the sun.
We found some rather beautiful Iris berries!
Snowberries in wintertime Victoria…sometimes that is all the snow we see, at least until the snowdrops bloom!
We found an empty nest that had been blown out of a tree…
…only it wasn’t as empty as we thought it was.
Tansy gave the poor chilly ladybug a warm pocket-ride back to the Hitty Cupboard.

How beautiful…. I loved her coat and photographical compositions… Fascinating me again. Thank you, love, nia
You are welcome – we love to share our little local adventures!
Yes, another pretty story from the QHs.
We enjoyed a delightful 5 km walk, and loved every minute of it.
Tansy always find fun things when she goes for a walk! We had 2″ of snow yesterday, and today’s temperature of 10 degrees below freezing means the snow will be around for a while!
Br-r-r – I hope it warms up soon! We didn’t have much snow, and it is almost all gone now!
I remember Tansy’s winter adventures last year, I do so love her coat! And those iris berries??!! I have never heard of such a thing. They are lovely.
She did enjoy her trip to the frozen middle of Canada – but is glad of a less joint-cracking cold for now! Who knows when she’ll get another attack of wanderlust!
Tansy is enjoying the snow and looks snug and cozy in her lovely winter coat.
That is the first coat I ever made for the Hittys! They love it too – a nice shape and lined with brown silk…she appreciated the scarf today!
Tansy’s coat and scarf are so dear!|
Thank you! That is the first coat
I ever made for the Hittys and they all love it!
