The half-pint Hittys have been sent off to amuse themselves while the Human attempts to finish carving, painting and stringing the newest Hitty…

They have obviously not paid attention to lessons taught by Fairy Tales…everyone else seems to know it is dangerous to even lick a piece of a gingerbread cottage, let alone try and sneak inside!

Undaunted by rumour, they made good use of a small folding chair…
Candy Balance
…clambered daringly up to the ridgepole…
Peering
…poked and prodded down the Chimney…
Joy!
….and rescued a stout little gentleman stuck therein!
At this time of year we like to listen to the Opera Hansel and Gretel by Engelbert Humperdink, who wrote it as a Christmas Play to be performed by his nieces and nephews.
