This kind of shower does not require towels and soap. Not even a telescope! According to the CBC, all you need to see the Perseid Meteor Shower is a lawn chair, a blanket and some snacks. Opal and Agathe have assembled everything they need, including a potato chip!
Dark!
They are excited to be staying up late again…

…and to glimpse the flashes of Swift-Tuttle’s tail!
Fascinating times for celestial viewing.
Really fascinating! We are always entranced by the heavens!
I love you dear Hitties 🙂 You are having amazing owner, fascinates me always. Thank you, love, nia
We are all so happy that people enjoy our mild fun and funny times…thank you for saying so!
Hope that you got to see lots of meteors!
Well I went to bed early and the girls were still snoring when I left for work this morning…perhaps they did!
Awwwww…. They look so CUTE! Waiting, optimistically, for the show. I do hope they don’t fall asleep while waiting.
They may have fallen into a potato chip stupor – one chip is quite a lot of junk food for such small individuals…
oh they are so sweet and so optimistic! I recall walking the dogs in Colorado at 3:30 a.m. and seeing some fantastic shows! Good luck girls.
If they were up till 3:30 am no wonder they are still asleep!
Hope they got to see a good show – the weather here is (as usual) diabolical and too much cloud to see the sky! Sigh.
We had a relatively clear sky, though a bit of haze from forest fires.
