Constance had decided to make lemon cheesecake muffins for tea.
Gimlet Eye
She is especially fond of lemony flavours, but because of the special paper cupcake cases, she wondered if it would look more exciting with a chocolate coin decoration. Her deliberations were closely observed by the Parrot.
Aarrh, ’tis pieces of eight and toonies too that were marked by a cross in the kitchen, me hearties.
Indeed – the parrot has his gimlet eye on the shiny things!
Hmmm…if Red reads this, she’s going to want some of those cupcakes.
Red is welcome to join us! Failing that, we can send her the recipe!
Are we expecting sea-faring company for tomorrow’s tea?
Company might be one way of describing a pirate horde!
That is going to be a very special tea party- with the possibility of unexpected guests, perhaps?
Constance is expecting a nice quiet cup of tea with a luscious lemon cupcake, but sometimes the unexpected does occur!
Yum. Piratey little cheese cakes. Tansy will be home just in time!
Everyone will be glad to have her back!
lemon cupcakes AND gold dubloons? how could this be a bad thing? Constance again works her magic in the kitchen. by the way we love her mixer!
The mixer has a little clock on the side to the back, but Constance says it is useful to have a timer in the kitchen!
Everything looks yummy!
We think so!
Chocolate coins! Perfect with the papers! Can parrots have cupcakes?
I think Parrots can eat cupcakes – especially fruit flavoured ones!
