October backyard
Raking leaves in the back yard goes slightly slower when Hittys come along to help!
Especially when one of them is just learning about the joy of jumping into leaf piles…
…but if you can convince them to help the work goes pretty quickly…
…even if they stop frequently to admire the leaves…
…and try to roll the biggest windfall home to the Hitty cupboard.
Constance found a more reasonably Hitty-sized apple.
And they each enjoyed a quarter apple after their morning chores.

I am exactly like this when raking leaves! It’s much more fun to play in them.
My preferred method for dealing with leaves is to wait until the first big fall windstorm, when they miraculously vanish! The Hittys like it when I rake though, they have such fun in the leaf piles!
That picture of Carrot Soup with the big apple is simply superb!!!! Good job Quimper bunch!!!
Carrot Soup loves Apples! Maybe even more than carrots! Especially big ones!
Delightful! Happy Autumn!
Thank you! I hope Edmonton is having a lovely autumn too!
So cute. Love their wonderful hoodie sweaters. Your girls are delightful.. Leave it to dear Constance to choose an apple that all can share. Great photos…just great.
My daughter knitted the hoodies – the Block Twins LOVE them! Constance likes to take advantage of teaching moments!
good thing the twins and Carrot Soup have Constance to share their adventures.
Yes, Constance is always a good friend to have along on any adventure!
Constance is a very caring older sister – Sharing the hitty size apple proves it.
The little apple was big enough to share!
