Reinforcements
The block twins were very happy to join Mary Ann’s dust bunny extirpation campaign. The three of them tried using the multiple-broom method to herd them, but the bunnies kept escaping…and multiplying.
Opal and Agathe found that they could capture them one at a time using the double-swat method, but it wasn’t very efficient – the rest of the bunnies kept geting away as soon as their backs were turned…
At her wit’s end, Mary Ann gave Gráinne a free hand to do whatever it took to get rid of the dust bunnies…
…whereupon Gráinne gleefully rounded up the scurvy dust bunnies and sent them to Davy Jones’s Locker!!!
A true pirate! Wonderful!
Ar-r-r She is!
Ha ha ha ha ha! Can she come and round mine up next?! This was a great cheer me up 🙂
I am glad you enjoyed it! Gráinne will certainly come with me if we ever fly that far East again…even if she has to stow away!
That’s a lovely shot of “Dusting the Plank”! Now the bunnies are denizens of the deep – maybe making the acquaintance of some sea hares?
Perhaps they will become the seaweedy bunnies of the Kraken!
Better than keel hauling. These ones won’t be coming back!
Nope – Mary Ann hopes this is the last of them!!
There’s very little that can’t be solved with a sharp cutlass! Bravo!
Gráinne found that simply waving her cutlass at the dust bunnies was enough to get them scurrying off! She is very pleased with herself!
Maddy and I have been loving the dust bunny saga. Grainne to the rescue!
I am glad you are both enjoying it! Gráinne is very gratified, and Mary Ann just relieved that the infestation seems to be over!
nothing like a walk on the plank! who could guess that Grainne would be so clever at house keeping.
Sadly her methods do not translate to human households 😦
Hilarious and inspired….Grainne is our hero… Thanks for such a totally FUN entry. (and great photos!)
We all had fun during the dustbunny outbreak, except possibly Mary Ann (and the dust bunnies).
Gráinne did a good job – rounding up those dust bunnies – The girls must be pleased with her efforts.
Everyone is happy – especially Gráinne!
