Twigs and Vines
Eugenia and Min came across a rustic little chair made from twigs and vines… the Quimper Hitty human had good luck at a Charity Shop yesterday!
.
They love the chair – it is just the right size for a couple of Hitty friends and a cat!

Very good photographs – makes me want to make one. Broom comes to mind, wrapped by trailing blackberry vines (the latter is very strong, and flexible – the former is also very strong… I wonder if it would accept skinny little finish nails?)
Quite a find indeed!
I have to admit I’ve always wanted to make a twig and vine chair…maybe next year, now I have a model!
And makes a good scratching post for Cat, too! How comfy they all look. We had good luck on our prowls around yesterday as well. Must have been something in the air.
Multi-purpose seating! We hadn’t thought of the attractiveness to the cat, but I am sure you are right!
Awwwww… The perfect thing! (good thing neither of them was wearing a cutlass!)
It is perfect – but you are right a cutlass would either poke the sitters, or chop up the chair! Do Pirates sit on bar stools I wonder.
Delightful!
Thanks 🙂
what a nice chair. Your photo of the girls, chair and flowers looks like a painting…still life with dolls!!
We were very pleased to find the chair – just the right size for a couple of Hittys…and we are all enjoying that chrysanthemum bouquet!
the girls look so happy and no doubt kitty is purring. It would be fun to try making a similar chair. The flowers are gorgeous.
I am sure the kitty is purring, any stationary lap is a good lap! I am amazed by those flowers, which have been blooming merrily for two weeks now!
Little Min, Eugenia and kitty love that special chair. What a great find.
We were all lucky!
This is such a good chair and perfect for a company of two to sit, chat and relax. What a great find..
Min and Eugenia fit in the chair perfectly – and it suits them so well! I love charity shops!
