Just “gotta” reply to your reply about forget-me-nots growing like weeds in your area. You lucky QH’s. Here in eastern Pennsylvania they are sought-after and put in floral arraignments almost like the flower “baby’s breathe” With our hot summers they burn out very easily and need to be pampered and need partial shade. I’ve tried many times to keep them alive in strawberry pots to no avail. They are beautiful little gems of nature.

  Lots of plants do well in pots around here but some escape and do well, like these sweet snippets of blue. We have to remember to water the flower pot garden, but there is lots of salt in the air so leaves get mildewed rather quickly. The Quimper Hittys have more patience than their human does with gardening!
