I am sure yours will grow – they are practically weeds around here. Did you know their scientific name Myosotis means “mouse ears” – it refers to the fuzzy leaves!
It’s the little things that matter the most. Constance, your gifts to us are as big as your heart. I can almost smell the fragrance of the flowers. Thank you.
Just “gotta” reply to your reply about forget-me-nots growing like weeds in your area. You lucky QH’s. Here in eastern Pennsylvania they are sought-after and put in floral arraignments almost like the flower “baby’s breathe” With our hot summers they burn out very easily and need to be pampered and need partial shade. I’ve tried many times to keep them alive in strawberry pots to no avail. They are beautiful little gems of nature.
Lots of plants do well in pots around here but some escape and do well, like these sweet snippets of blue. We have to remember to water the flower pot garden, but there is lots of salt in the air so leaves get mildewed rather quickly. The Quimper Hittys have more patience than their human does with gardening!
Thanks for the reminder of life’s little things…it’s a lovely narrative.
Constance is good at that!
One of life’s little treasures is your dear blog! Thank you, thank you!
Thank you, Tottie, we are pleased that you think so!
Life’s little things are often its very sweetest. Just like these wonderful photos. thank you for such lovely moments.
We think so – having a very small companion helps me see small things in a different light!
Oh, we just bought forget-me-not seeds in the hopes they would be Hitty-sized! So exciting to see your pictures.

Forget-me-nots give little wafts of perfume, mostly at night – we love going for walks in the evening, but the photos are harder to take!
