Farewell
Crockette is being released into the wild… she has been growing complacent with the diet of dust-bunnies so the twins decided to try and teach her how to be self-sufficient and adventurous.
There is food and fun to be had in the tide pools!
…and more food under rocks and in the water…
…crabs are more wholesome than dust bunnies!
The beach is full of sparkling water and interesting seaweed!
You can find all kinds of stuff in driftwood piles…
…even friends!
Bye girls…have a nice life together!
It is a bit lonely without Crockette, but the twins are happy that she and her new friend have found each other – adventures are way more fun when there is someone to share them with!

May their adventures be delightful!
I expect both the pairs of friends will have many delightful adventures!
Happy trails to the twosome!!!!
They look happy to me! Especially the little driftwood Croc, the cloth one always looked a bit thunderstruck to me!
Goodbyes are often bittersweet. The twins are wonderful ambassadors for the environment. Lovely photos and wonderful that Crockette has a friend to adventure with.
The twins are glad Crockette found a friend – the rest of the Quimper Hittys are glad she left before she got any bigger (or hungrier)!
What a lucky little crockette to have been raised by the twins and then released into her natural domain. “Parting is such sweet sorrow” but seeing that crockette was met by such a handsome friend makes it easier. There is nothing I love more than a happy ending. Wonderful story from start to finish.
Thanks 🙂 the little driftwood croc is happy to have found a companion! Yay!
Another adventure chalked up for the twins….what could be next?
I am pretty sure wonders will never cease in the Quimper Hitty Cupboard!
The waves are sure to wash another adventure ashore soon. Good-bye to Crockette and her new partner in crock-crime!
No doubt there will be lots of new watery adventures on the shore, (and on land, in the garden and in the cupboard!)
A beautiful ending to a wonderful story!
We think the little wooden croc is a beauty! They were happy to go off with each other, and the other Hittys were glad to get Crockette out from under their beds!
