Amelia and Aurelia adore the latest result!

Rose had a request for a differently coloured catkin hat!

Hatty loves it, even if it is a little big!!

Thank you so much to our Hitty friend at Mad for the Farthing Crowd for the Kitty-Hitty-Hatty knitting pattern (Click here for a link to her instructions)!

Your beautiful girls really look cute in those hats!
Thanks very much Laurasey! I was wishing I had a bit of the grey rabbit fur that you sent me – my daughter spun it into the softest, most beautiful yarn…she knitted the sweetest little hat for my granddaughter, she truly did look like a wee catkin!
The pink one makes a subtle statement. I’m sure I’m not the only one who caught it. Thank you for that!
🙂
Looks like a popular item.
They are so quick to make – it took a few tries to get the pattern adjusted to my tension and the different yarns, but a day knitting is not a day misspent! ( the Hittys agree!!)
These are adorable little pussy willow/catkins hats. What a sweet idea and accomplishment. Better make one for cat to curl up in or me-thinks he/she will just commandeer one of them.
I think you are right! in fact I think the one of the Hitty-Kitties is nestled in the biggest Grey one as we speak!
Aurelia is floating away in dreamland…such a dear expression on her face. Maybe dreaming of a warm. cozy and comfortably catty (cat-ish?) garden spot?
Yes – preferably with warm sun beaming down, and maybe a Hitty-Kitty on her lap!!! Thank you so much for posting the pattern, we love it!
Very cute hats! Looks like they have been having fun. I have been knitting Lyra hats recently but these hats are cute as well.
The Lyra Hats are very sweet! Min’s hood in her sledding picture is one of those!
aha…will they be marching soon? Those hats are adorable as are the little wooden girls. Rose is a marvelous knitter! Such sweetness.
They very well may! I think the hats are pretty cute, and Rose is happy to knit something a little less complicated than the most recent pair of Hitty sleeping bags!
Beautiful hats. Rose has a talent for knitting
Thanks! Rose likes to keep busy in winter with knitting, and was particularly happy to have this topical pattern appear!
These are just beautiful! Love them.
Thank you – they are fun to make!
