Mary Ann, we will wait some more out here in the Eat…we have over 12 inches of new snow from yesterday and still getting more today! Your crocuses are a very welcome sight!!!! Enjoy!!!
It has been, and still is, a long, long, long extra cold winter, so I am very happy to see green grass and lovely crocus blossoms in Quimper Hitty world…. it will be awhile here before winter releases it from it’s grip! We have gotten used to shorter winters here, but not this year!!!!
What a beautiful sight. We had a doozy of a snow storm here in the Eastern U.S. yesterday and we are all still digging out. These beautiful flowers are a ray of sunshine for good things on the way. I missed your pie post yesterday and just wanted to tell you how much I love seeing all the wonderful outfits/clothes/and goodies you and the Hittys share together. That bonnet and pinafore are lovely. I have a special love of anything blue check.
I am glad we could share them with you – they were too pretty to just hug to ourselves! We love blue check too and are enjoying the new “chicken scratch” technique!!
We are so happy too – it is always a marvel to see the peekings of spring, but especially after this long stormy dark winter (though we are still running the woodstove)

Oh dear – that is too much snow!
Ooooooooops, am told I was very conservative…we already got over two feet of snow…!t’s a Winter wonderland out there!!!!
Oh no, even worse!
Well worth waiting for, Mary Ann…they are beautiful.
We think they are worth waiting for too, but we have been waiting an extra month!
Ethereal.
That is what we thought too, when we saw the glowing purple, almost as if a fairy would flit up out of the blossoms at any moment!

We have had a long winter too, but the end is in sight for us, I think!
Thank Goodness!
