Barefoot in the Camas
Tuesday and Viola are the Barefoot Quimper Hittys – today they threw off their winter shoes and socks and went on a walk with me through Beacon Hill Park.
.
.
When the fence rail ended the girls sat down…
.
.
…and gazed around for a spell, just breathing in the wonder and beauty.
.
.
The view down the path was so alluring…
.
.
…they hopped down into the Camas meadow…
.
.
…to mingle with the loveliness…
.
.
…gratitude made the Hittys choke up with the beauty of it all.
.
Beautiful meadow. The girls look lovey walking in it.
It is a beautiful meadow…this is a favourite moment in the wildflower spring season.
To paraphrase….:barefoot girls with cheeks of tan….. your girls are delightful. as are the wonderful flowers. and your great photography.
Ah, the barefoot girls with cheeks of tan – they are lucky and will be getting much joy out of the season forever, unlike the barefoot boy!
How refreshing! The girl’s hair is spectacular, and I can almost smell the fresh breeze. Such a nice way to start the morning.
It was such a lovely warm spring day, I am glad that you were able to come along with us on this pretty walk!
Thanks for brightening the day with the glory of your walk.
You are so welcome – thanks foe making the day brighter yourself!
Gratitude made me choke up just viewing this post. So touching…So beautiful…So true.
Some times there are no words…I am glad to share this with you.
