Beautiful November Afternoon
Arianell and I walked home one beautiful November afternoon…
.
.
…and played in the leaves!
.
.
Queen of the chestnut leaf pile!
.
.
We also found mushrooms…
.
.
…and a pile of garden trimmings!
.
.
Somebody set out a doll’s tea set on the boulevard – perfect refreshment for a tired doll only half way home…
.
.
…what a beautiful November afternoon…
.
.
…and the cherry on top – a letter from our friends waiting for us when we got home!
.

.
That friend’s letter surely enhances an already beautifully fun day.
It was so delightful to get a letter…it was a day-long reminder to us to enjoy the beauty, joyful times, and love of our friends!
What a lovely walk you had and that tea set laid out was just wonderful. Oh to get some post as well, that really is the cherry on the top!
The tea set is at the base of a tree and in some small person’s enchanting “Fairy Garden”. It has been there week after week – we just love it!
Thank you for this breath of fresh air. Fall is my favorite season. Arianell looks lovely in her softly hued ensemble.
We were so glad to get outdoors to enjoy this beautiful day. I love having a Hitty with me on these walks, it really is a good perspective on life. I made her dress some years ago, out of a hemp and rayon man’s shirt. I love it too…the apron is reversible – it has cats on the other side!
The nature “Sprites” must have noticed Arianell’s appreciation of the beauty and variety of Autumn…by rewarding her with that Hitty sized cup of tea. Is there anything better than a nice hot cup of tea after a walk on a glorious chilly, sunny Autumn day?
We are so enchanted by the little tea set – just out there on the boulevard. Some “Sprite” has created a little platform made of driftwood, and a little garden for dolls. This is the first time we’ve stopped there, but I may have to make a point of going that way home again (and bringing Arianell and a camera!!)
what a lovely stroll thru the Autumn leaves. Sweet photos of such a sweet HItty. I enjoyed walking with her.
Thanks very much…we truly enjoyed having you along on our walk! Arianell is glad I carved her with sturdy walking boots!
