Joy to the world

After a century and a half of being lost, forgotten and buried in river mud, Mudlark was extremely gratified to be the Christmas Tree Angel! The humans have had a Hitty-angel for the last few years, but their new tiny tree could only support a tiny doll.

Guttersnipe has spent the time rattling around in dollhouses and antique stores – she was happy for the Angel-honour to go to Mudlark – she just wanted to fly around!

  1. What a precious story. The most beautiful Angels to ever top a Christmas Tree. You just melted my heart.
Merry Christmas to you and your family and to all the lovely hittys and wonderful gals who comment on your blog.
Happy Holidays to each and every one.

    • We were happy to see that Mudlark and Guttersnipe made good use of the magical wings…and happy that you enjoyed our little story about their angelic adventures! Merry Christmas to you and the people and dolls that you love too!

  2. What a lovely honor for Mudlark~and furthering the honors bestowed upon “others” is Guttersnipe. What dear dolls the Quimper Hitty Household holds. Thank you so much for blessing us with your gift for creativity, expressed in a multitude of ways. And, Merry Christmas to all!

    • Mudlark says that being a Christmas angel is about as far from being stuck in the mud as is possible…and besides, the view and is much better from the top of a tree, and conversation is much improved as well. Merry Christmas to you and yours as well
