Relief for Chilly Paws
Knit, knit, knit some more…

…Guttersnipe and Mudlark are impressed with the amount of work that goes into a human sock.

Rose has been knitting this sock for so long…when it will ever end?
.
.
Guttersnipe was equipped to help…

.
…she and Mudlark started measuring…

…and counting.

Hooray! Rose can start decreasing!

This “Hitty sleeping bag” is for a size 13 Karhun tassu!
Beautiful results from some industrious girls! Somebody will have happy feet!
Somebody will! As soon as Rose finishes sock #2!
Me thinks that the entire Hitty family could snuggle down inside that cozy warm sock.
I thought about that too, but Rose put her little wooden foot down, she didn’t want to send a sock stretched out of shape into mysterious lumps…a certain discerning bear might have some things to say about that!
hope you don’t have a Karhun tassut in the back yard. That’s alot of knitting, love the colour.
Not actually in the back yard, but down along Linden Street we do! The colours are pretty, and the Finnish Karhu willlove them!
Mmmm, according to translation tools, it looks like you have a Finnish bear amongst you! The sock is most appealing and so well done. Good going, Rose!
We do! He lives a little distance away, and have tea with him every Thursday! Next week we will present him with a pair of socks for his chilly paws!
Rose is amazing! Love the colors in that sock…and I do admire the tenacity required to knit it!!
We loved the colours too, and Rose enjoys the knitting…she is glad that we only know the one bear with size 13 paws!
My goodness, what a huge sock. Beautiful colors, though.
Great job, girls.

We do have a Finnish bear in the family who has very large paws! He will like the colours as they are the same as the Finnish flag! 🇫🇮
