Foraging
Vanilla and Tipsy collected their pails and went out to forage…
.
.
…the apples were too big…
.
.
…so were the walnuts…
.
.
…the Cyclamen are prettier if you leave them in the garden…
.
.
…but Tipsy found some Rosehips…
.
.
…and Vanilla found some blackberries…
.
.
…and they made their way home through the Queen Anne’s Lace.
.
.
It was a good day in the fields and hedgerows.

It was fun to see Vanilla and Tipsy together out foraging. They are the sweetest duo.
They very much enjoy each other’s company, and especially on such a lovely late summer expedition.
Tipsy and Vanilla look to have such joy in simple pleasures. It is cheering to see such content and pleased looks on their faces from an endeavor available to all.
They were both very pleased with their good days work…now all they have to decide is whether to make blackberry pie or jam, and rosehip tea or relish!
The girls are enjoying one of my own favorite activities! They look very pleased with their ‘harvest”.
It was a gentle, warm afternoon, perfect to enjoy their hay-sweet youth…bringing home a whole Rose hip and an entire blackberry…what treasures – a harvest of memories perhaps, as well as fruit!
oh, yes. Good for the girls, I’ve been keeping an eye on both the rose hips and blackberries and have just put a healthy harvest of blackberries in the kombucha.
Yum! Sounds like a very delicious addition!
What a wonderful day outdoors and so much fun too !
The kind of day that embodies a perfect summer!
