Almanac
One of Jane’s favourite books is her Almanac…
.
.
…though September looks to be a turbulent month with “thndr stms, frost, elec’l stms, line stms, tornadic winds, severe” Thank goodness for the “delightful Harvest Moon season 8th – 13th”…
.
.
…Jane wants to be prepared, but isn’t exactly sure what to cook for the various kinds of “stms”…
.
.
…but for impending “Gen’l danger”, Jane’s recipe for comfort is a cat on the lap and a cup of tea.

She’s settling in for the winter…..
Jane hopes there won’t be too many winter “stms”, she is a little afraid to look ahead in her Almanac!
Jane’s recipe comfort is exactly what I need today! Thanks for another lovely post!
You are welcome – it is a never-fail recipe in the Hitty Cupboard!
I’m with you, Jane. My tea is right beside me too. I’m so grateful for a time of quiet and tea.
Tea and quiet are so restorative!
Yes Jane, a pet on a lap is the best way to stay calm.
Jane’s cat rarely leaves her place on the mat in front of the wood stove, but seemed to know her healing purrs were wanted just then!
A cup of Tea …. the cure to every evil 🤩
Definitely true in this household, (luckily there isn’t a great deal of evil around here!)
I should have said ailments instead of evil 🤦♀️
Jane has exactlly the right idea…a pefect method for dealing with all of lifes stms!!!
We have found it a useful prescription in the human household too; stms and tribulations are much reduced when a cat is on a lap, and cups of tea are near!
