Witch Hazel Blossoms
Floradora, Arianell and Tipsy spotted something glowing yellow in a soggy corner of the garden…
.
.
...so they put on their raingear…
.
.
…and climbed up the Witch Hazel…
.
.
…where they perched like three little birds.
.
.
Aren’t they interesting little blossoms…
.
.
…and they smell so nice…
.
.
…isn’t nature wonder-full?
.
.
Yes, but it was such a wet bit of nature today, the girls dashed back to the Hitty Cupboard…
.
.
…and spent the rest of the afternoon admiring nature from indoors with Siyah!

I love everything about this! The girls, the pictures in the rain, their gear, and witch hazel is a favorite flower of mine.
Thanks! We planted a Witch Hazel in that spot exactly so there would be a bright glow in the damp corner of our garden in Winter! It is very heartening!
Oh, so much beauty and delight! Thank you!
You are very welcome!
You follow the QHs so closely that even their simple little adventures are great escapades on your blog. Thank you.
When the Hittys get out and about it is worth following them! We think that very small adventures are sometimes the best kind.
the girls do look like colorful little birds! Those rain coats are adorable!!! Siya has the right idea of how to enjoy a cool rainy day!!
The girls are glad of the rain gear in the winter – somehow the endless rain is less dampening when you can put on a cheerful slicker and go out in it!
This story is pure delight. The girls are adorable. It was just what the doctor ordered today. Thank You.
Thanks…that yellow glow in the corner of the garden was very alluring! The girls were delighted to get out, and also delighted to scurry back inside! We are glad you could come with us!
The smell must have been wonderful so close to the flowers. I do admire their rain gear; I’d love something like that for the Wet season here, if only it weren’t so hot!
The entire back garden was filled with a sweet invisible cloud of perfume, truly lovely. The rain gear is essential in the cold and damp winters here!
It would be useful in the torrential warm monsoon rains here if only it wasn’t so hot to wear! Maybe just a sou’wester to stop the rain beating my brains out!
