The curtains opened and the little dancer was introduced…

.
The dancer danced to the edge of the footlights!
.

After the intermission the ballerina danced the Sugar Plum Fairy dance from the Nutcracker…

.
.
…and a series of lovely jetés!
.
.
Forest and Flame couldn’t believe their eyes!
.
.
Little Ballerina danced with a parasol…
.
.
…which made her feel like she could really fly.
.
.
Willa and Vanilla clapped enthusiastically…
.
.
…and Little Ballerina bowed gracefully.
.
.
After the performance…
.
.
…Little Ballerina set up a plate of Sugar Plum Candies…
.

So delightful and creative! Reading this blog post brought me much joy.
I am so glad you enjoyed this wee story – we certainly enjoyed making it!
The young human’s imagination is delightful. did she help make the little ballerina?
I re-carved and painted the little ballerina – she started out as one of the “Manypennies”!
Young human indeed decided she needed a pink leotard, and proceeded to help paint it on (and helped find a ribbon and was sure grandma could magically transform it into a tutu…I had to try!
the pink leotard is perfect and of course she knew grandma could design a tutu.
So charming!
Thank you so much – we had so much fun!
I truly enjoyed the performance and loved seeing the enthusiasm of the audience! Bravo!! (Many thanks to youngest human for staging the fun!)
Young human created it all – we love to eavesdrop, or participate in her joy and amusement!
This narrative is adorable in every way. I especilally appreciated the color of little ballerina’s painted on outfit. She was a most charming hostess in all manners.
Young Human chose the colour of Little Dancer’s leotard, and applied it herself too! She was a delight – her tiny size belied the amount of charm and talent!
the little ballerina is a Prima Ballerina…what a dazzling display! Like the Quimper Hittys and their friends I was amazed.
The audience was dazzled alright – and very appreciative of the sugar plum candies afterwards!
