Rainbow Garden Red
This Winged Spindle bush (Burning Bush) thinks it is autumn…

…and the St John’s Wort berries are turning red, and then black!

The red and purple Fuchsia bush blooms are beloved of the hummingbirds – this plant was a huge bush last year but we thought the frost had killed it. It is so nice to see it recovering!

The red Lobelia is the reddest of all the plants in the end of summer garden!!

The Human and a few of the Hittys are away for a few days, but the rest of the Hittys are looking for a rainbow in the garden…

Wonderful reds, but they speak of Autumn. Surely it can’t be upon you so soon?
Alas, yes… Kids are back in school too, that’s the biggest sign of Autumn around here.
So, so pretty. What a delight your garden area must be.
It is very pretty – I have taken photos so I can look at them in the winter when it is all dull grey-green!
I stumbled upon your blog by accident, and I still have to catch up with all your posts to learn more about the Hitty dolls. Never heard of them before. They are really unique, and your dresses are adorable. Nice garden, too!
Nice to meet you! Thanks very much…I’ve been out of town and am just catching up on my mail, but I am happy you found the blog, and enjoy the garden!
Thank you :). Garden and dolls- very enjoyable combination!
So beautiful!
Thank you!
