Wassail Wassail
Guttersnipe and Mudlark have been busy this new year – today they helped with the current knitting project…
.
.
…and visited the new kitty, Blueberry…(now we have two black cats)!
.
.
…and made some toast!
.
.
It is time to Wassail the fruit trees!
.
.
We saved a bit of peel from our single apple to bless and encourage the tree…
.
.
Look! A fruit bud!!!
.
.
Thank you for your apple! We all wish for good health for the tree, and more fruits this year!
.
.
The two little china heads snuggled in the chair and finished the day reading.

Dear, dear, dear QH household, it is so good to see you in this new year. May your trees be blessed.
It is good to be here! We are hopeful!
Delightful, as always. Thank you!
You are welcome! We love our three tree mini-orchard, and delight in their fruits!
I could almost hear the “china heads” a-wassailing in the tree. What can be more comforting than reading by candle light?
We are listening hard too, and watching! We see things happening in the garden already, a pink blush on a rhododendron, a swelling yellow glow on the witch hazel!
what sweet girls…love the wassailing of the trees… and how lovely that things are coming to life in your garden….mine is still sleeeping safely for now.
