Getting Around
In the rotten weather of January, Constance is remembering a long walk she made by foot and pocket thirteen years ago…She is glad she kept a journal on that trip – it is really lovely to revisit those memories! (Click here for a link to some highlights from Constance’s memorable trip!)

Mormor also prefers armchair (or rocking chair) travel these days…
.
.
…and Graziella is also rocking – travelling by horseback across the endless prairie!
.
.
Gráinne wishes she could travel by boat across the seven seas!

Meanwhile Abigail practises skating…

…getting ready for spring travels around the Quimper Hitty neighbourhood!

Ah, those are great ways to travel in winter! I like Mormor’s way especially.
We are rather fond of rocking chair travel ourselves! Add good book, a cat on the lap and a cup of tea and it’s my idea of perfect!
What a great trip! Does she still wear her Galician clothes?
She does especially when she listens to the Galician pipes!
what a variety of get aways on a dreary January day. I love those skates!! And I remember the adventure of the Camino…thank you for the link to look at the photos again.
Memories and rocking chairs, a very pleasant way to spend a wet afternoon!
What awesome roller skates
Aren’t they! I almost screamed out loud when I saw them in the Antique shop – and Abigail says she is planning to grow into them!
