Pink and Blue in the Garden March 20
Guttersnipe led the way and Mudlark followed…
.
.
…out to visit the Blue Scilla in a corner of the garden…
.
.
…and they climbed the Rosemary to admire the earliest blue flowers…
.
.
…and they sniffed and sniffed the Grape Hyacinth until they were giddy!
.
.
The early flowering Rhododendron clusters are beautiful but relatively perfume-free…
.
.
…the Saxifrage charming and optimistic…
.
.
…and the clouds of flowering plum blossoms are a heavenly place to sit and absorb the glories of spring!
Happy Vernal Equinox to all my friends in the Northern Hemisphere, and happy first day of fall to my friends south of the equator!

.
Mudlark and Guttersnipe have led us through nearly heavenly loveliness. Thank you. Our blue scillas have had green blades up for a bit now…soon, the most gorgeous colors will emerge. Happy celebratory day to you all too!
Our Scilla is pretty when it survives…the deer seem to be eating them at the moment, unfortunately!
oh what a wonderful garden, so much to see and smell…the little ones are sweet guides to all of the blossoms. love them in their blue frocks.
We love it too when Mudlark and Guttersnipe frolic about in their frocks in the garden!
