Petals
Cooky wore her new shoes…
.
.
…out to the Rock Roses (Cistus sp) where the petals were tightly furled at 6:30…
.
.
…then opening up…
.
.
…so you could see the middle by 7:00…
.
.
…petals almost un-crumpled by 8:00…
.
.
…already visited by pollinators…
.
.
…and predators…
.
.
…this voracious one ate the entire middle and some of the petals!
.
.
Life is beautiful…
.
.
…and fleeting.

Girl! You are killin’ me with this doll! Coockie is just too stinkin’ cute!!♥♥♥♥
I think she is pretty cute too!
Amazing learning experience for a little one! Quite moving…
The world is full of such interesting things, we are glad we are able to stop and look at them and ponder!
those shoes are amazing, Cooky needs a tiny pair of socks for the winter.
Cooky does need socks! I wonder if I am up to knitting such tiny things?! I may just have to give the project to Hitty Rose…
Cooky is so lovely…and now her toes are safe in a pair of sturdy shoes. Enjoyed the fleeting beauty of the rock rose…important to remember so as to appreciate beauty when we see it. thank you
Cooky loves her red Mary Janes! She loves having cosy, cute, sturdy shoes for her little toes!
I totally agree with dogsdolls…fleeting beauty needs to be appreciated. There is so much abundance of that…thanks for capturing a glimpse of that Cooky, with the Rock Rose.
Cooky is so small, it is very sweet to catch a glimpse of the world through her eyes.
