Eat me with Cheese!

Jane is glad we have a good selection of cheeses to try with the delicious-looking Glühwein (Mulled Wine) Jelly that we got on the 19th…

.

…so handy that Jane decided that the Hitty cupboard needed one too!

A gorgeous hand-marbled fabric bowl cover arrived on the 21st,  Jane can use it when she is proofing dough for the household bread-baking!

A Star, A Star

The 22nd was a beautiful beaded star ornament, which Henrietta is wearing around her neck …emulating her namesake Dr Bonnie Henry who always wears gorgeous large-scale jewellery!

Poetry and Jam

On December 23rd we opened some delicious French Apple Jam made from the apples of a 100-year old tree! The jam came with a lovely autumnal poem. We can’t wait to try the jam, and wonder if it is similar to our favourite pear, cardamom and pecan jam?!

Happy Christmas Eve, and thank you crafty friends for the lightening of the darkest month in the human and Hitty cupboards…and special thanks to our most favourite crafty Christmas Angel who organised us into making all the fun again this year!

  1. You are blessed and you have blessed us in return. Thank you K, and to all of those who participated in this generous and creative tradition as you blessed us too.

  2. what a variety of gifties…so many edibles and then the surprise of the towel and poem. Love that Jane made her own towel. The girls all look so cute in their hats and caps.
