Advent Calendar 2024: 1, 2, 3, 4
We have another wonderful Crafty Advent Calendar this year – the fifth year in a row! Crafty friends each made 25 little gifts, which were exchanged in late November. Vanilla and Coriander found the beautiful bag full of treats – let’s see what they found inside…
.
.
Number one was right at the top…
.
.
…look! A tiny plant!
.
.
On the second day we found some pretty and useful gift tags…
.
…and the third day was a giant box…
.
.
…with a giant corsage in it…
.
.
…and a sweet story!
.
.
And on the Fourth we opened a jar of Antipasto – yum!!
Thank you crafty friends! And special thanks to our crafty Christmas Angel who has organised us for this year and the previous four years – such fun and so cheering!

The cheer came my way too just reading and seeing your narrative today. Thanks to all who participated so that we all benefit.
It is such a nice tradition, I am so glad my crafty Christmas Angel friend asked me to participate! and I am glad you like seeing the gifts – it is nice to share, even vicariously!
Exactly this is so beautiful and meaningful, Thank you, Love, nia,
We all seem to enjoy the Advent Calendar – my December is not as dark as it could be because of friendship and generosity!
How nice dear Hitty Ladu, Blessing and Happiness to you all. Love, nia
what a lovely and fun tradition. quite a bit of work for the organizer and participants but such fun to open a give each day. The girls seem to to be enjoying it!
It is work, but love goes in and more love comes out! What better gift could there be? Vanilla remembers Christmases past and Coriander is enjoying her first one!
a wonderful time for everyone, can’t wait to see more as the days go by.
We enjoy the anticipation and the surprise, and the hope that our crafty friends like our contributions!
Those are lovely gifts! I do my daughter an advent calendar each year but the gifts are bought not made – maybe next year….
I am sure your daughter loves the thoughtfulness, whether bought of made -we only have to make one thing, albeit 25 times! I am sure it would be harder making 24 or 25 different things.
Thinking of 25 small things to make would be hard to start with!
Lots of wonderful treats with that Advent Calendar and great photos!
It is such a fun project to participate in! I’m very grateful to all the other contributors!
It seems like a wonderful way to spread some joy, I might look into participating in something like that someday – but you have to be very organized to make all those gifts ahead of time!
