More wet, soggy and dark rain in the forecast  but we feel very fortunate that we have not had flooding and mudslides.  Thank good for moments between storms, for gardens and gingerbread!

    • The wet west coast weather has been awful, just absolute buckets of rain pouring down all day. People used to say “at least you don’t have to shovel it” but that’s no consolation this time around. We are indeed very thankful for a short reprieve, and for the fact that our house isn’t floating away!!

  1. I am sorry to hear that you are having miserable weather too. It seems important to get out when we can. That gingerbread house is amazing!

      • yes the bad weather keeps us cooped up indoors and it is nice to escape when it is dry. I have never made a gingerbread house and it would take me too long to eat one but they do look fun.
