Trugging along
The garden bouquet needed refreshing…
.
.
….so Tipsy, Floradora and Henrietta threw off their shoes and socks…
.
.
…and clambered into our new (to us) garden trug!
.
.
Look! It’s a real Sussex trug!
.
.
We found out that the handle and rim are made of hand planed Chestnut saplings (bark still on), and that the slats and feet are made of Willow (offcuts from cricket bat manufacturing)!
.
.
The Hittys look forward to many future trug rides as we collect flowers and produce from our garden this summer!
