Looks like extremely intricate work to keep all of those pieces in their proper place. The yarn looks so soft…will be fun to see what you are making…perhaps cat hopes that Constance will weave some of her fur in with the cloth.
The yarn is very soft indeed, and when all is said and done, it should result in a lovely soft baby blankie, hopefully without any bits of cat woven in!
How exhausting…i was tempted to take a wee nap just thinking about the effort involved! Looking forward to seeing the project as it goes forward. Hope that the little cat is content to watch quietly!!
I hope you had a lovely refreshing nap! We find it helpful to just do one bit at a time when we are getting ready to weave…this isn’t a very complicated warp, but we still have to pay attention, and get the threads all placed correctly. We hope the cat behaves itself too!
It looks to be a purr-fectly awesome task there and I can see why Constance needs a rest.
I quite like this part of the process – dressing the loom before weaving, and having feline and Hitty help is a given around here!
