On a beautiful sunny spring afternoon, Eugenia and Hattie went to the Chinese Cemetery in our neighbourhood. Since last Saturday was Quingming, there were lots of flowers, joss sticks and oranges left on the altar for the ancestors.
The “live in HD” broadcast from the Metropolitan Opera today was Puccini’s tragic opera La bohème…a multiple-hanky event. We traveled up to our favourite Star Cinema in Sidney and enjoyed their brand new fancy blue seats which have now replaced the comfy sofas they used to have.
