Tulip Petticoat
A westcoast winter storm blasted us yesterday, with 84 km/h wind gusts and 3 degrees c (-2 with the wind chill). Fortunately, I had bought some cheering tulips, and even more fortuitous, a little parcel arrived in the mail with a Hitty-sized quilted red flannel petticoat…I have such good Hitty friends!
Carya enjoys both tulips and petticoat while listening to the roaring wind outside!

The flowers are very cheering on this slightly misery-inclined day, and the petticoat does warm my heart as well as Carya’s middle.
