Lucia Day 2013
The Hitty Cat is ready to help serve the glorious breakfast…

There are many Dalahästar in this household – two of them join the breakfast feast.

Constance is ready to serve and eat the delicious Lussekatter, and turns on her scratchy old recording of Sankta Lucia.

Hitty Constance loves this holiday!

Yumm. I love this holiday too, the saffron buns are wonderful! What a nice spread for the Hittys and their friends!
Yes, we are all full of warmth now!
I want to come for breakfast! (Good thing that Constance doesn’t have any hair to catch on fire)!
We have a human-sized Lucia crown, which uses real candles. I think the most important thing is to have the candles firmly attached to the crown/wreath, and to extinguish them without blowing!!!
Oh my! You actually lit candles on the wreath! I am impressed. I wasn’t so bold…in fact, I didn’t put candles on my wreath, but they carried them. Lovely post! I linked to it!
I lit them very carefully and they were rather thick beeswax, well affixed to the wreath and non-dripping! Thanks for the link Erin! I do recommend that small wooden doll enthusiasts who like to read my blog check out Erin’s Weathertop Hitty’s blog, they have a lot of Hitty fun too:

Be careful Constance!!!!
She is very careful! So is her human!
Oh this is really special. I would say that you and Erin both do a wonderful story with great photos. thank you!
Your post yesterday inspired me to bake bread today. But nothing as special as this. Just great!!
Fresh bread is so lovely – I am sure your Hittys enjoyed the warmth and aroma, and are sneaking bits of bread with butter – m-m-m-m-m
