Rainy Winter Sunday
Another deluge of rain…Agathe and Opal felt the need to look for something cheering outside…
…and they found that the pouring rain has not prevented the willow from beginning to produce catkins…
…nor the early Rhododendron buds from unfurling.
Rain or shine, our beautiful little Witch Hazel is a joyful sight at this time of year,
…and the Viburnum blooms nearly all year round.
We are so happy to see the flowering plum buds…
…and Opal and Agathe brought some twigs inside in hopes of encouraging them to bloom early!

it is a gray and rainy day here in MO. but there are NO flowers or buds out there!! We are still in the midst of winter so it is lovely to see your girls finding signs of spring. Gives the Country HIttys and myself hope that indeed spring will come…and as always I love the girls rain gear!! Great photos and lovely flowers.
Sometimes it is hard to see, but spring will come!!!
The raincoats and rain hats are perfect for the girls and for these rainy days!
They actually like going out in the rain – it is the human who has to be cajoled and persuaded!
Wow you have a lot of things starting to bud and bloom early! Not a lot here – although the girls are eager to go and have another look today!
I hope you find some! We find this is a good time of year to buy a bouquet of flowers once in a while!
Cheery smiles, vibrant faces, dazzling rain coat colors, tempting buds…what a welcome sight it all is. Thanks, Quimper Hittys!
