August Beach
Perilous crossing
On a sunny afternoon, Constance and some sisters made their way to the local beach for some August long weekend beach fun.

For very small wooden persons the path is not straightforward. The bevy of girls crossed driftwood bridges and clambered along rocky channels.

Tansy stopped to admire some crusty salt deposits.

…and Constance stopped to collect her favourite colour of beach glass.

But at last they made it down to the water, and the big girls stuck their toes in while wearing their very modest bathing costumes…

…and Opal and Agathe decided to swim more informally.

The tide was way-y-y out – the girls had quite a selection of tidepools to choose from – some very private!

We enjoyed both the bathing costumes and the bathing uncostumes!! Watching the girls on their journey was such fun. Love the great rocks!!
