Constance has been wondering why there are giant hooks embedded in the dining room walls…
Laundry Line
…but after our strenuous hikes in muddy locations, several loads of laundry were done, and the purpose of the hooks revealed – we think it is a great idea to have laundry line right in the dining room!

I think it’s a wonderful idea too! It sounds extremely practical.
It is a very useful contraption, and the laundry dries pretty quickly!
Should we say it’s very creative??? Certainly prevents bird mishap!

I agree with everyone above, this is a clever, practical and most convenient way to hang laundry.
It’s interesting that the hooks are just built in to the apartment wall, there is another rack hanging in the kitchen too, so you can hang out the whole load.
Has Gracia been wrestling a jam pot around the table? I hope she rewarded herself with a snack after all that effort! And the laundry line is wonderful. I’d suggest it for home, if we had a dining room.

I once lived in a very old home that had something like this in the kitchen. Very interesting and the dining room might be more practical. Gracia is such a busy little person.
It is interesting to see what is considered ordinary in other places and other times…we love finding stuff out like that.
Constance is always very practical and I tend to agree with anything she and Min do.
