Birds and Berries
Constance accompanied me to an Embroiderer’s Guild workshop…
…we worked hard and Constance was a great help…

…and we look forward to finishing the project at home, and more new tiny embroidery projects!
Thanks to the Victoria Embroiderer’s Guild (click here for their website) for letting non-members attend the Spring Festival, and especially to Wanda, our teacher. We enjoyed the entire day – the great kit design and instructions, not to mention the delicious lunch and copious amounts of tea! Now back to the needle…

Constance certainly got caught up in the embroidery floss, didn’t she? It looks like it was a delightful day 🙂
It was a fun day, though I felt a bit cross-eyed as well as cross-stitched afterward (though not actually cross 🙂 )
I sense Constance is getting “hooked” on embroidery…such a delightful craft…Can’t wait to see the finished product! Embroiderers are one very special breed 😉
I did my best in a room full of busy talented ladies – no-one finished their pieces though, so I didn’t feel bad about being slow!
Pretty.
Thank you – I hadn’t realised it would be so tiny! It is going to be nice, but I will be a while finishing it!
I do so love embroidery, this group seems to have something for everyone. I look forward to seeing your project as you complete it. So dainty! Glad you and Constance had a good time.
It is fun to see the pattern materialising (textile joke, ha ha!) I love your embroideries, and so does Constance!
Were you able to find Hitty size embroidery pictures? That’s what I like to make. Denise

So far we are sticking to the instructions! I’ll bet your Hitty-sized embroidery pictures are lovely!
