Lost and Found
Walking home from the market the other day, Hatty had the feeling she was being followed…
…she was right…
.
.
…a porky family were lost!
Hatty made posters…
Gracia was happy to put a poster up in her shop and offered to look after the pigs meanwhile…
…but Hatty thought the pigs would be happier outside!

I’m with Hatty on this one…a pork in a carniceria…might prove uncomfortable to say the least!
Gracia is disappointed however!
Having grown up in what was considered the (USA) county that was the Hog Capital of the World makes me think Hatty has the right idea-better outside for the porkers.
To be sure, Zipporah, Mary Anne and Jane especially (the main floor scrubbers of the cupboard) are very happy to have them staying outside the house.
Soo-wee-t piggles!
Here pig, pig, pig …they are sweet aren’t they? The mamma and piglet are from my mother ‘s old stuff, the big old boar is a delightful new addition, he was languishing in a consignment shop.
3 little pigs…. hmmm…. will Hatty build them a straw bale house? They are dear! I think that the Youngest Human is going to enjoy them…. perhaps they can sleep in bed with the horse? 😉
Hmmm, maybe. The pig family are having fun in their pen at the moment, rooting in the slop trench and rolling in the mud!
I agree with dollhouse lady. Hatty has the three little pigs best interest at heart. They are so cute in their little pen that I think my love of bacon is a thing of the past.
We say bacon sotto voce around here at the moment…all except Gracia!
Very charming…pigs are such intelligent creatures…I am sure they will be a grand addition to the Hitty Cupboard…at least until (or IF) their original caretaker shows up. What compassionate girls you have living with you.
Hatty would be happy to keep them, but worries that there is a doll family pining for their darling porkers.
Oh my goodness – in that first picture, did you notice an alien had popped its head out of the pavement right behind Hatty? Yikes, I hope she is OK.
Hwoinch!
